WanoWa means the circle of peace and harmony in
terms of one’s environment and state of mind. It represents all of us coming together
to form one large circle of peace to reach out to Japan in this difficult time.
WanoWa also represents the perseverance and stoicism of
the Japanese people in the face of adversity. To date, 'Wa' is still the most valued principle
practiced in Japanese society.
The main purpose of WanoWa
is to raise money, through numerous charitable events, for the area of north eastern Japan affected by the 11th of March 2011 tsunami and
earthquake.
The WanoWa team also hopes through their events to
spread their passion and desire to connect people in a positive way.

On an extraordinary, sun filled day, Potters Fields Park in Central London became a place to pay tribute to the devestating events that hit Japan on the 11th of March.
A highly attractive Sumo wrestling free-for-all, a stall selling raffle tickets for a multitude of attractive prizes, stalls selling Japanese food & drinks and Japanese craft stalls decorated the sky-line for an afternoon.
